Sebelumnya aku nggak pernah dengar Aimer
menyanyi dan lagu pertama yang kudengar dalam album Kabaneri-nya setelah
ninelie adalah Through My Blood yang menjadi background musik anime ini. Tentu saja
awal mendengar lagu ini aku merasa sangat bingung, ini cewek nyanyi lagu apaan
sih?
Kupikir dia menyanyi dalam bahasa Jerman yang di
mix dengan bahasa Inggris tapi ternyata.... semua liriknya dalam bahasa
inggris. Suaranya bagus meskipun pelafalannya sangat unik, tapi keunikan itu
tak sedikit pun mengurangi ke-worth it-an lagu yang ia nyanyikan, justru
menjadi hal yang khas Aimer.
Untuk musiknya sendiri Hiroyuki Sawano-lah yang
mengaransemennya dan diawal musik aku dengar beberapa melodi gitar yang terdengar
seperti melodinya Reluctant Heroes. Wajar sih karena yang buat lagunya orang
yang sama. Ah dengerin yang beginian jadi pengen belajar gitar lagi, sampai
saat ini masih dalam tahap hapalin kunci gitar doang (menyedihkan). By the way
suara Aimer ini bikin aku inget sama lagu-lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Evanescance.
